What are content notes and why do we enter them?
The content notes provide cinema-goers with information about the themes and sensory stimuli they encounter in a film. Depending on your own sensitisation and experience, dealing with certain topics can be perceived as stressful. Strong sensory stimuli such as flashes of light can pose a health risk. We indicate this in the content notes so that cinema-goers can better assess for themselves which films they would like to watch.
One point of criticism of content notes is that they anticipate parts of the plot. Convinced of the self-determination of cinema-goers, we therefore leave it up to each person to decide whether they want to take note of the notes.
The contact person for the respective screening can be asked at the cinema box office. If you have any questions or feedback, we encourage you to send an email to info@filmwerkstatt-muenster.de in advance.
